About Me
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Internet of Things for e-Health, and a PhD focused on Medical Image Analysis.
During my Master’s studies, I completed an internship at Devicare S.L., where I developed machine learning models for the early prediction of urinary tract infections and kidney stones. Following my Master’s, I worked as a researcher at the University of Barcelona, where I developed optimization algorithms and AI-based methods for daily behavior classification.
During my PhD, I focused on medical image analysis, developing multimodal computer vision models for skin cancer diagnosis, with a particular emphasis on explainable and trustworthy AI. This work allowed me to explore how AI methods can be designed to support clinical decision-making while remaining robust, interpretable, and reliable.
My research interests focus on using AI to address real-world challenges in healthcare. I am specifically interested in developing reliable and useful methods that can eventually be applied in clinical practice. I also have a strong interest in mental health, women’s health and in using data and technology to address areas where research is still limited.
